James has been involved with the training and development of young people and adults for more than thirty years, often using the outdoors and adventurous activities as the medium for learning.  For the last 10 years he has been a Senior Instructor at Essex Outdoors, Mersea.  He now runs his own business.

James believes passionately in the importance of the natural outdoor environemnt for our health and well-being as well as creating opportunities for adventure and learning outside the classroom.
