Simon Reed

Originally degree trained as a geologist and geochemist Simon spent 10 years in the oil exploration industry on global assignments in China, South & Central America, Africa and Europe. He then moved into the scientific instrument field on sales into the oil sector. This proved the link into the IT world and Simon then spent the last 12 years pioneering and marketing the growth of smart card technology for the banking, health and global GSM telecommunications industries (SIMs).He now runs his own marketing & technology consultancy in Kent and for the last 2 years has been combining this with several other activities including two main rural local start-up ventures that of beekeeping and cider production.
